Day 3: Brazilian Butt Lift - Bum Bum + Day 3/20: P90X Lean - Arms & Shoulders, AB Ripper X

Hey everyone!!

Sorry I didn't blog this yesterday; I was so worn out and tired. I went to bed. 

Day 3: Brazilian Butt Lift - Bum Bum: My thighs and hips have been on fire since I have started this program! It was hard to get through the workout. Before the workout, I did not want to workout period. I am so glad I pushed myself and pressed play! I actually had more fun with this workout than I did with it Monday. Leandro Carvahlo is evil to me some days; but, he is also very inspiring and very smart to invent such a program! I am planning on doing the "pencil test" Sunday. Maybe there have been some changes. If not, it's only been one week. :) ~ I listen to latin workout music while I do BBL everyday. It helps make the program bearable. 

Day 3/20: P90X Lean - Arms & Shoulders, Ab Ripper X: Getting through this workout was like pulling teeth and what's ironic is, this workout is one of my favorites out of this program! I was just so darn tired and worn out, also sore! I made it through the full hour and AB Ripper X. I did every segment. I am so proud of myself!! :) 
I still listen to music while I workout. Today I listened to some "oldies" from my day when I was a kid and teen. Like Spice girls, Backstreet boys, NSYNC, No doubt, and other artists that had just come out like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, Gwen Stefani, Missy Elliot, and more. :) It was my blast from the past workout. <3 

Clean Eating: 

Breakfast: Whole Grain Traditional Oatmeal - with one TBLSpoon local honey - 1/4 cup a milk. 
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Can't recall it
Snack: yoghurt 
Dinner: Baked lightly seasoned Tilapia - with 1/2 cup of whole grain Penne Pasta seasoned lightly with olive oil and grated cheese - fresh veggies - water. 
Snack: All natural Peanut Butter with locally made organic strawberry rhubarb jam on whole 15 grain whole wheat bread. 

I did a lot better with my clean eating than I have been doing. Not that I haven't been making good food choices; so I mean that I ate regularly throughout the day instead of skipping meals. :) 
Since I have eaten protein the past two days, being sore has eased. So, I am doing what's right in that department. :) 
I am really proud of myself for taking this journey! :) I know I can accomplish anything I put my mind too! I am also really grateful to my beach body coach and to all those that have been so encouraging!

Day 2: Brazilian Butt Lift - Cardio Axe & Tummy Tuck + Day 2/19: P90X Lean - Cardio X

Good morning Everyone! 

It's a beautiful Fall morning! The sun is shining and I love seeing it sparkle through my blinds. :) It gives it a crisp feeling. 
Today, I have some good news thus far. I am up before 8:00am for the first time willingly! I haven't had the easiest time getting into a normal sleep schedule since my husband has been away training. In fact, I went to sleep for the first time last night before 1:00am. I found myself diagonally on my bed this morning. It was nice. :) By all means, I'd rather have my husband here with me to snuggle with; but, this means I am adjusting! I slept good last night. :) I am proud of myself! I am sore; but, this means, "Ooh la la! Muscles!" :) I have earned it. :)

Day 2: Brazilian Butt Lift - Cardio Axe & Tummy Tuck: I am sore from yesterday's workouts and was tempted to stay in bed and not exercise till later today. I chose to get up regardless and press play! I am glad I did. Now I don't have to think about this workout program till tomorrow and I can get on with my day. :) ~ I realized I need to work on my rhythm. Samba is harder than when I was taught it. A long time ago! I dated a Brazilian guy for awhile. Anyway, practice makes perfect! So, when it's the day for this disk again, I will keep going! I got through the program today anyway and kept trying! :) I tried out Tummy Tuck as well... A LOT OF CRUNCHES!! My neck hurts. Ha ha. Makes me wonder if I was doing them right. Anyway, I didn't get through the full 20 minutes; because, I don't think I was doing the moves right. So, I sat through and watched the rest. I will use this time to look up the proper ways to do crunches and get through it next time! I am glad that I made the attempt though. :) 
Tomorrow is Bum Bum. This one I did yesterday. A lot of squats. Hey, the butt, hip and thigh version of crunches! Literally. 

Day 2/19: P90X Lean - Cardio X: Good evening! Well, I did Cardio X tonight and I was oh so sore! I did NOT want to do this workout tonight. I pushed through every segment but the 3 min bonus round. :) I am so proud of myself! :) 
I know I will feel this in the morning. :) It's pain I have earned! 

I look forward to kicking butt tomorrow morning! So, I better get to bed! :) I have an early start tomorrow. Good night everyone! I am going to write my honey a letter now. Remember, anything we put our minds too is tangible.

Day 1: Brazilian Butt Lift - Booty Basics & Bum Bum + Day 1/18: P90X Lean - Core Synergistic

Hi Everyone!!! 

Missed me? I missed writing in my blog, exercising, and over all having my schedule!! 
It's been a VERY rough two weeks for me. I got discouraged and you know what? It's okay. It happens to the BEST of us. There's no need to beat myself up over it. What's done is done. Now it's time to move forward! 
So, I woke up this morning saying, "even though I don't want to exercise today, I am going to anyway! I need to!" So, I did. It was very hard starting again! In fact, I am still feeling a little discouraged; but, that will soon pass. I just have to keep going! 

Day 1: Brazilian Butt Lift - Booty Basics & Bum Bum: Yes, yes! I already started BBL; but, I did the wrong disc the first time and it's been awhile. So, I figured I will just start over. I NEVER thought a workout program would top P90X. Brazilian Butt Lift totally does! I was T'd off at Leandro Carvalho for THINKING of this workout and making it happen by the end of my workout! Ha! It's very challenging and I wanted to QUIT so bad! I almost did...so, instead of quitting I took short breaks throughout. I kept going. I looked at it this way, a workout this challenging is worth it to have around! If the workout was easy, would I get the results I want? Absolutely NOT! So, it's here to stay. Eventually I will warm up to this workout program. I will master this challenge! I made it the full workout. My legs, thighs, core, and butt were on fire! There are so many squats! I plan on doing the pencil test once a week through this workout to see how I am doing. I am aiming to do this workout in the morning as well. :) 

Day 1/18: P90X Lean - Core Synergistic: So, confused by the slash and the 18? Well, it's been two weeks since I have worked out and I should be on day 18 today! I'd like to keep the 17 days that I already did on P90X. I earned it. So, I will write it like this from now on. It was hard getting back into Core Synergistic. I worked through it anyway. I did skip bow to boat, superman/banana, and banana rolls because I have no room to do those segments! I look forward to having more space and to moving! I did try out all the push ups though! I am very proud of myself. I didn't do the girlie one's either. :) This is a workout program I will do in the evenings. I like working out at night too; because, it helps me unwind from the day. My core and legs felt it tonight!
 I am proud of myself! :) 

Clean Eating: 

Water: I did consume water throughout the day. My goal tomorrow is to consume more water than I did today. I love the taste of water by the way! It's the BEST liquid!
Breakfast: I had granola cereal with dried bananas. It's really good! With skim milk as well. 
Snack: Yoplait Blueberry Yoghurt. 
Dinner: Baked Tilapia with baked fresh squash & fresh green beans. I used olive oil to cook with and light seasonings. 
Snack: Cashew caramel bites
Snack: Granola Bar

My goals with eating tomorrow: 

1. Consume more fruit
2. Drink more water
3. Have lunch

Brain Exercise: I read a couple of pages from a book I am reading today. :) I didn't work on any school work today though! :( 

Goals for Brain Exercise: 

1. Do homework
2. Set classes up for the next 4 months. 
3. Read a chapter from the book I am reading. 

Spiritual Exercise: I had FHE tonight with my girl friend and it was on prayer. I also kept a prayer in my heart throughout the day. I will pray and read tonight before bed! 

Emotional Exercise: I sent out Andrew a couple of letters tonight. I plan on writing him a get well card and writing him another letter tonight. :) I also made plans to hang out with my Sis. in law Brandi and help decorate her house for Fall. It was fun helping my friend out in babysitting her children today and having dinner with her tonight as we chatted. :) 

Getting in the loop is challenging; but, I need too! :)

Day 12-17/Day 17: Core Synergistics - P90X Lean & Day 1: Brazilian Butt Lift

Hello Everyone!! 

It's almost 2am here and I just got done with day 1 of Brazilian Butt Lift. I did the wrong DVD workout; but, that's okay. At least I worked out to it. 
I started Core Synergistics and got through 20 minutes. I am going to be straight with you. I could have finished my workout tonight; but, I hadn't worked out since Tuesday night last week. Last week was very hellish and I hope to NEVER repeat it again! 
It was one crappie thing on top of another! I REALLY wished my husband was here last week! Of course, I wish he was here every day! Last week however, I am surprised I didn't go crazy. 
I literally had no energy last week to exercise with all the stuff going on...so, I didn't. My mind and emotions were occupied with other stuff anyway. 
I paid for it tonight though! Not exercising for almost a week really killed me in my workout tonight. I really shouldn't have shut down my workouts last week...no matter what I should have stayed on top of my workouts...it is what it is and I have learned from this. 
So, let's talk about: 

Day 1: Brazilian Butt Lift: That program is NO JOKE!! My butt, hips, and thighs felt that workout! I will feel this in the morning! I will stick with it though; because, I am curious to see if I will pass that pencil test now that I have officially tested already. :) I am following a calendar of workouts for this 60 day challenge. Wow, so when I am done with this workout, it'll be two months finished and closer to Andrew coming home!! :) YeeeeeeHaaawww! <3 
I can't wait to see the results of week one. I will do this workout in the morning time.

Day 17: Core Synergistics - P90X Lean: Even though I didn't workout since Tuesday last week, I am still counting this as day 17. Not working  out was a set back; but, it for me wasn't such a huge setback that I should start all over again. I earned my 10 days and feel that I should keep them! Tonight, I didn't finish the full hour because I am just downright exhausted. It doesn't help that I am working out so late. Last week was emotionally draining and mentally as well, I hope I get my mojo back soon! Tomorrow is Cardio X. 

Day 17: Nutrition: 

Breakfast: OJ - Banana & Eggs - Honey Dew sliced
Snack: No Snack
Lunch: No Lunch
Snack: No snack
Dinner: Tacos - Homemade with fresh ingredients - Water
Snack:  Yoghurt - Low Fat 

I think part of the reason why I didn't finish Core Synergistics is because I didn't eat right today. I didn't have the energy to finish. I am working on clean eating as well as regular eating. I have noticed that when my husband is away, I don't have much of an appetite. So, that's a good and bad thing. I will work on eating smaller meals throughout the day, so that when it comes to exercise, I am not crashing. 
I went to the commissary last week and bought some pomegranate. Fresh. I look forward to trying it! :) I have never tried it fresh before. I don't know how to eat it though, so I will need to look up ways to eat it. 

Well, I better get to bed. I am very exhausted and tomorrow is a very busy day!! Good night all! :)

Today was a horrendous day. I didn't workout tonight. I am disappointed that I didn't;but, if you had the day I had...you'd probably not have worked out either.

Day 10: Arms & Shoulders, AB Ripper X - P90X Lean

Hi!! (: 

Wow! Now I am in the two digits as far as how far I am in P90X Lean! :) That deserves a celebratory self *hi five!* 
I had a lot of fun with Arms & Shoulders tonight! I listened to Ellie Goulding throughout my full 1 hour and 16 minute workout! Her new album is good. 
Before my workout, I had spent about 1.5 hours doing just school work. When I got home from babysitting, I immediately got excited about working out! So, I put on my workout clothes, set up, and pressed play...the rest is history! It was really nice to mentally unwind in my workout. Take a break from work and school and just relax. I know, working out could be considered relaxing? To me, yes. Especially considering that these days I am a full time student and I work full time on the side with my business...I barely have any time to my name, so of course I look forward to working out! Working out is intense though; but, I feel so amazing afterward! 
Even though I am sore and worn out physically from exercising, I love how it makes me feel! I feel so happy and relieved! (: 
Tonight, I did struggle with Ab Ripper X. I am worn out; but, I pushed through and I am glad that I did! I did every segment in both workouts tonight! I even made progress as far as quantity goes in each segment! (: 

Today, I received in the mail my BBL & Shakeology! I did the "pencil test" and yes, I need a butt lift! LOL! I can't decide if the pencil violated me...or if I violated the pencil...either way, that was a test I never thought I'd do...in fact that was a test I'd never thought someone would even think of! ;) 
But, it works for it's purpose and I will continue the "pencil test" as I use BBL. 
I can't decide if I want to start tomorrow or Monday. If I start tomorrow, than technically I am starting in the middle of the week...if I start Monday, than I am starting where the calendar for BBL directs. Decisions, decisions. 
I'll decide tomorrow. 

So, I am going to add something new in my blog each night. What I ate that day. I feel if I record this, than I will be encouraged to eat healthier. I am an honest person and feel really bad when I lie...so, I know that I will want to be honest in my postings. Therefore, I know I'd be encouraged to eat healthy. I am going to post what I had for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner, snack. Since we are supposed to eat small meals throughout the day, that's the way I will do it. Plus, I think now that I have this posting obligation, this will encourage me to eat regularly as well. 

Today, I got some house work done. I did laundry and cleaned the bathroom. (: I am testing this new toilet bowl cleaner that you hang on the rim of the toilet. Each time the toilet gets flushed, it releases cleaner and scent to clean and fragrance the toilet. We shall see. I am still of course going to scrub the toilet! It's just something nice to have since the toilet gets used more now that there are more people living in the house. :) 
I still have a lot of laundry to fold! Since I am not all that tired, I will probably start folding it tonight and watch some Netflix. 
First, I am going to change out of my workout clothes and grab something to eat. 
I will then write my sweet husband and ask how his "vacation" is going (he's in basic right now). He'll know I am joking of course! (: 
I got most of my homework done today and reached my goal to get 50% of my editing of those two sessions today. 
(: 

Tomorrow's goals: 
1. Read scriptures and pray
2. Fold ALL the laundry
3. Vacuum 
4. Mow the lawn
5. Be 75% with editing two sessions 
6. Get caught up in my classes 
7. Get through Yoga X 
8. Write my husband! 
Those are my goals. :)

Day 9: Cardio X - P90X Lean

Good evening Everyone!! (: 

I am SO glad I chose to workout tonight! I just got done! It's been a really busy day, so I JUST got time to do it. I wasn't going to workout tonight because it was so late; but, the consequences of not working out weren't worth it to me. So, I fought through my exhaustion and did Cardio X. 

It was nice of my beach body coach to insure that I was making the right decision to exercise tonight. She was right, once I pressed "play" I didn't want to go back. :D 
I wanted to exercise! 
I listened to Lady Gaga...her first album. You know the one with songs like, "Alejandro", "Poker Face", "Telephone". I really like the beat. 
I try to play music according to the intensity of the workout, so it's easier for me to get through the workout...so the encouragement is up to the level of what I need it to be. 
Wow! I can't believe that it's already day 9! Time flies! Hey, that's a good thing! That means the time away from my husband are becoming less and less. :D!! 

I got my dependent ID card today, so that means I can take some classes at the gym on post. Well, when I have time. I am still getting on a schedule. Even a month later. My husband being gone totally threw me off. I am getting on my feet...it's just taking time! 

 I am still sore; but, I fully expect me to be at least the first three weeks with this program! Two more days till I get my BBL! I am so excited to start! (: 


I am not done with my workout for tonight yet...I need to workout my noggin by hitting the books and doing my homework. Afterward, I am going to workout my spirit by reading my scriptures and praying! :) Geez, I am going to be buff inside and outside! That's awesome!! (: 

Today, I was naughty...I let myself make an excuse to get Taco Bell for dinner. Since I had been out all day running errands, I hadn't had breakfast or lunch...all I had was a banana. I was really hungry and I only had a couple of hours to my name before my class tonight for RS University. So, I stopped by Taco Bell and got a deal 4 with a cheese quasadilla. I was tempted to get a soda; but, I got water instead...so, at least there's one good decision there. 
There's good news to this though; while I was eating, my taste buds rejected the taste. That's new. It didn't taste as good to me anymore. I have cut eating out drastically since my husband has been away training. I still ate it though; because, I didn't have enough time to make something else. From now on, I am going to pack snacks when I know I am going to be out and about...i.e. apples, sandwiches. So, that I have real food instead of the temptation to go out to eat and spend money.

Tomorrow is Arms & Shoulders with Ab Ripper X. I am actually looking forward to it. 

I mailed off my husband's letters. The post man was so funny. He made a comment, "He's a lucky man!" As he pointed to the envelopes. I laughed and said, "Yes. Yes he is!" (: 
My husband is a lucky man! He really is! (: 
I am a lucky woman! We are so blessed to have each other! (: 

Tomorrow my goals are: 
1. Clean the bathroom
2. Vacuum our room
3. Fold my laundry
4. Get 50% of the editing done tomorrow for two sessions
5. Do all my homework
6. Read my scriptures and pray (this will be done before everything else)
7. Get to bed at a decent hour. 
8. Successfully get through P90X's workout for tomorrow. 
9. Write my husband a sweet letter. (: 

Well, I better get going! Still lots to do! Good night everyone! (:
